In my Origins Game Fair 2026 coverage, I previewed seven titles coming from various asmodee studios, but as I highlighted in April 2026, asmodee's sales growth is more about the games it distributes rather than the games it develops internally.
Looking at asmodee USA's release calendar for July and August 2026, that focus on distribution is obvious. In the week of July 3, for example, two asmodee titles were released — Splendor Duel: The Counterfeiters (covered here) and Crashed Out, another take on the public domain game Golf in which you want to ditch cards to have a low score — along with a reprint of Leviathan Wilds by Moon Crab Games, two Allplay titles, and a dozen Dire Wolf titles following that company's decision to sign on to asmodee's distribution program.
More generally, over the next eight weeks asmodee USA's release calendar features many games from other publishers, two dozen expansions for existing games, a few IP-related games, and a sparse number of original releases. To summarize:
- Thirteen Star Wars: Legion expansions from asmodee studio Atomic Mass Games
- Star Wars: Unlimited – Ashes of the Empire, the newest set for asmodee studio Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars: Unlimited TCG, along with armloads of Unlimited accessories from asmodee studio Gamegenic
- Star Wars: The Deckbuilding Game – Rebels & Empire Reinforcements Expansion from FFG
- The Mandalorian: Adventures – Sworn to the Creed Expansion from asmodee studio Unexpected Games
- Eight Marvel: Crisis Protocol expansions from Atomic Mass Games
- Three Marvel Champions: The Card Game expansions from FFG
- LEGO: NINJAGO – Destiny's Bounty Adventures from asmodee studio Dotted Games

- Zombicide: Squid Game from FFG and Guillotine Games
- Azul Kids from asmodee studio Next Move Games (one of the Origins previews)
- A 25th anniversary edition of The Werewolves of Miller's Hollow from asmodee studio Zygomatic
- Spot it! Connect from Zygomatic, which debuted in 2023 in Europe
- Three party games from new asmodee studio Moodbox Games
- That Tracks from asmodee studio Bezzerwizzer Studio

- Toy Battle: La Croisette, a new battlefield expansion from asmodee studio Repos Production
- Gunsen: The Battle for Toshi Ranbo, a Legend of the Five Rings-based board game from asmodee studio Office Dog
- Games and expansions distributed on behalf of Helvetiq, Allplay, Czech Games Edition, Nerdlab Games, Moose Games, Korea Boardgames, Bicycle, Neuroscape, Capstone Games, and Chaosium, among others.
In short, the asmodee USA titles for these two months offer four new non-IP party games and an expansion for an original design, with everything else being line extensions, IP-based games, or both. Seems uninspiring...
