I prefer to organize game announcement posts around themes, but sometimes that leaves lots of teasery, barely informative items without a home — so let's put them together and make that the theme for this post:
▪️ At Game Market Spring 2026, someone spotted a banner promoting a "pro kit" featuring acrylic-style tokens for Hisashi Hayashi's Spiel des Jahres-winning Bomb Busters, with the banner also promising eleven new missions and a release in Q3/Q4 2026.
▪️ In a May 2026 newsletter, designer Matt Leacock said that Flickering Stars — a dexterity game co-designed with Josh Cappel that Friendly Skeleton had announced for Gen Con 2024 and cancelled in early 2026 — has been signed by a new publisher. Writes Leacock, "We're very excited and will be sharing more info in the fall. Psst: it's going to be great."
▪️ A friend pointed out that Reinhold Wittig's Piratenbillard is once again available for purchase through publisher ABACUSSPIELE. Honestly, the game might have been available for sale for a while, but I'll take the opportunity to point out this delightful dexterity game anyway.
▪️ French site Le loup de Naqala showed off a mock-up of Harmonies: Crescendo, which asmodee's Stefan Brunelle confirmed is an expansion for Johan Benvenuto's Harmonies, not a standalone game.

▪️ The new version of Mechs vs. Minions that publisher Incredible Dream announced in April 2026 will be distributed in the United States exclusively by ACD Distribution.
▪️ In April 2026, Modiphius Entertainment teased XCOM Miniatures Game with a logo and...nothing else but a sign-up page for info in the future. Cryptic.
▪️ In an interview with SPIEL DOCH!, Frederic Diebold of Hans im Glück stated that the publisher will release a new edition of Saint Petersburg in late 2026, with graphics along the lines of its new edition of El Grande that it released in 2023. In an email to me, Diebold wrote, "We will announce the Saint Petersburg soon", with "soon" being open to your interpretation, of course.
▪️ And another item coming from Hans im Glück is Pixel Carcassonne, with publisher Giochi Uniti, the Italian licensee for that game line, posting a twenty-second teaser video recorded at Play Festival del Gioco in late May 2026.
▪️ Designer Mac Gerdts has shown a mock-up of Concordia: Mare Nostrum, a new expansion for his 2013 hit Concordia (and the Concordia Venus standalone spinoff) that he demoed at LeiriaCon in March 2026.
