On the final day of GAMA Expo 2026, The Academy of Adventure Gaming Arts and Design Hall of Fame, which is curated by designer Mike Elliott, announced the people and creations that make up the "Class of 2026":
- Designer Antoine Bauza (7 Wonders, Hanabi)
- Designer Richard Borg (Liar's Dice, Memoir '44)
- Artist Wayne Reynolds (Dungeons & Dragons, Dungeon Twister)
- Game Can't Stop, created by Sid Sackson and first released in 1980
- Apocalypse World, created by D. Vincent Baker and first released in 2010
These people and creations will be honored in an induction ceremony to take place on June 19 during the Origins Game Fair in Columbus, Ohio.
I'm not an RPG guy, so I had never heard of Apocalypse World previously, but these covers really convey a look, a feeling for what you're about to explore.
